Positive Brain Change Courses focus on three key ways to work with your mind:
Let Be: Observe thoughts and feelings without trying to change them
Let Go: Decrease what is negative or life-denying
Let In: Increase what is positive, such as calm, happiness, confidence, compassion, and love

The HEAL Process: Learn to grow specific inner strengths that help you handle life and let them soothe old wounds and hurt.
All methods are science-backed, developed by Dr. Rick Hanson, neuropsychologist and author of “Hardwiring Happiness” and “Buddha’s Brain.” The instructor is a licensed Positive Neuroplasticity Teacher by Dr. Hanson.

Q: Do I need any background in psychology or meditation?
No. Everything is taught in simple, practical steps you can use right away.
Q: Is this program for everyone?
All Positive Brain Change Courses are educational programs for the general public. It is not psychotherapy, nor treatment for any physical or mental health condition. Participants take responsibility for their own experience in the program. The workshop can be a useful resource for normal range experiences of anxiety, blue mood, stress, loneliness, and interpersonal conflicts, including for people in psychotherapy for these concerns.
Q: Will this help if I’m dealing with stress or low mood?
Yes. You’ll learn tools to reduce worry and negative rumination while growing calm, confident, and a more positive mood over time.
Q: Are there scholarships available?
For those who are genuinely unable to pay for the course, there are scholarships available.

In seeking spiritual care, one hopes to find meaning, purpose, and comfort through a deeper understanding of the beliefs and worldviews that frame our human experience. If you are struggling with life’s challenges, are in a time of transition, are feeling lost, facing grief, or seeking a deeper or renewed connection to a Higher Power, I provide deep compassion, understanding, skillful listening, guidance and support to help you navigate through challenging times and find your way back to a sense of increased peace and wholeness.

My approach is steeped in tender spiritual care centered in providing a safe space, free of judgment or agenda. With open-minded curiosity, together we will explore your heart and mind’s questions, confusions, longings and needs. In this process, we can come to wider perspectives, deeper meanings, life-sustaining reconnections, and re-establishing trust in your own inner knowing.
With a degree in Specialized Ministry and years of work as an interfaith chaplain, I bring my own life journey, spiritual grounding, sincerity, and expertise to those I serve, no matter their faith or spiritual background.

I provide a safe space free of proselytizing or preaching while focusing on the client’s spiritual needs.

Grieving is often a lonely path, which can feel unbearable when traveled alone. Compassionate presence, emotional and spiritual support, and a deep understanding of the grief process are the areas of experience and expertise I bring to companioning you through your grief journey.
With over 12 years in hospice grief support and chaplaincy, and as a certified grief educator, it has been my great honor and privilege to walk alongside the bereaved, to hold grieving hearts with tenderness, and to be a safe space and trusted resource through this valley. From a profound understanding of the grief process, I offer my compassion, experience, knowledge and skill to guide the bereaved the territory of grief and loss. This work has been a large part of my life‘s and my heart’s calling.
I have worked with individuals and groups and taught classes on walking through grief. I can also be a helpful resource for the practical details families face after the death of a loved one. Funerals, memorials, and celebrations of life are profound and sacred moments where we honor and remember our loved ones. With 13 years of experience in hospice grief support and interfaith chaplaincy, I bring compassion, warmth, and understanding to these powerful life passages. My goal is to co-create ceremonies that acknowledge the pain of loss but also celebrate the life lived, providing space for joy and sorrow, as well as providing support, comfort and solace to all attendees. Meaningful rituals and spiritual/scriptural elements can be incorporated in accordance with the family’s preferences and beliefs.
Weddings are a beautiful celebration of love and commitment. I am honored to co-create ceremonies that reflect your hearts and values, whether for a small, intimate gathering or a large celebration. Q: Does a ceremony need to be for many people?
Not at all. Meaning-making, honoring, letting go, or letting in can be honored in any setting. Although traditionally, supporting and witnessing one another in the shared ritual experience play an important role, a ceremony can be held in a small group or even just for yourself.

Guest Ministry & Pastoral Support
If you need a guest speaker for Sunday sermons, pastoral support, programs or retreats, I would be honored to help. I have 9 years of experience officiating services and delivering sermons at Unity in the Rockies in Colorado Springs. My spiritual roots are in Sufi Mysticism and Unity Metaphysics.
My sermons, each tailored to fit your congregation’s Order of Service, are approximately 30 minutes long. They address broad spiritual themes and our shared human experience, offering practical ways to expand our minds and spiritualize our consciousness. I officiate special events and ceremonies (such as memorials and funerals) and facilitate communal rituals for congregations. I believe that rituals can speak louder than words, bringing together families, congregations and communities to celebrate, mourn, honor and to share hope, celebration, support, vision and meaning. Some examples of congregational rituals I have led and offer include:
· Burning Bowl Ceremony: Typically celebrated around winter solstice or on New Year’s Eve, this ritual invites all participants to put in writing things they want to release or let go of, such as negative thoughts, habits, or experiences. The paper is then burned in the burning bowl. This act symbolizes letting go and making way for new beginnings.
· Blue Holidays/Christmas for the Bereaved: A compassionate space for those grieving during the holiday season, this ceremony includes poetry, readings, songs, and candle lighting rituals that honor loved ones and offer support.
